Philippians 1.12-26. Paul longs for the Philippian church to know progress & joy in the gospel, so shares the powerful and unexpected ways he is seeing it advance - in people around him, and in his own life as he becomes more and more devoted to the person of Jesus Christ.
Note: Sorry, we missed the first 5 minutes of this recording. The intro explained the themes of 'Progress & Joy' in this passage, the passage was read, and the context of earlier news of Paul's imprisonment likely shaking the Philippian church, that they might've been wondering whether this was the end for Christianity and for them. The recording picks up as Duncan is still on v12 - Paul saying emphatically that his imprisonment is not the end, but is 'advancing' the gospel.
