Exodus 1.22-2.10 The nation of Israel started out in deep oppression and slavery but right at the beginning of the book we can start to see God's plans for redeeming his people start to be set in motion through the resistance of some of the weakest members of society.
The story of the Exodus is one that comes up again and again throughout the Bible. In this teaching series we'll see how it's a story of God liberating a people, of evil being outdone & overthrown, and of people being led into fullness of life with God - He draws us out, to draw us in.

Luke 23.32-43 As Jesus hangs on a cross, dying and in pain, he talks to a criminal dying alongside him and makes an eternity changing promise. In these moments of suffering, this criminal sees Jesus as he really is and discovers just how far God will go to make a way for him to enter into paradise.
