Exodus 19 As Israel come to Mount Sinai, God comes to meet with his people and they experience his glory as a consuming fire. God still comes to meet with us now and through Jesus we can approach his glory and not be consumed.

Exodus 16.1-26 As Israel begin to grumble and turn from God, his provision of manna and quail draws them into a rhythm of daily trust and dependence on him, setting them apart from the nations around them. Just like for the Israelites, God's promise of a full portion of new generosity, blessing and provision to feast on and enjoy each day is available to us in Jesus, the Bread of Life.

Exodus 14.9-29 After God leads them out of Egypt, the Israelites find themselves trapped between the enemy that wants to kill them and the waters of death and judgment that would drown them. This is our story too. But just like for the Israelites, united to Jesus we can pass through the waters of death and judgment on dry ground into resurrection life.
