Romans 11.33-36 In the first part of our worship series, we looked at how worship and directing our lives towards God is a natural response to seeing that all things are from and through him, and how worthy our God is of worship simply because of who he is.

Worship is one of the most important things we do. This series explores why we worship before getting practical on what it should look like in the church, who it’s for and how spiritual gifts like tongues, interpretation and prophecy build up the church and bring us closer to God.

Matthew 3.13-17 As we look at the account of Jesus' baptism, we see the righteousness of Jesus in his perfect obedience to the Father's will, and the delight of the Father over his Son.

In the midst of a thronging crowd, Jesus notices a woman who gives just two small coins into the temple offering. As he calls together his disciples to talk to them about it, we see his overwhelming delight at her sacrificial giving and how even the smallest of contributions can have the greatest Kingdom value.

At Vision Sunday we announced our Leadership Team and now are taking some time to outline our beliefs on church leadership.

In the second of two parts, we build on part 1 as we look at how the New Testament speaks to and shows us how men & women are released in all areas of church life, whilst also holding to their unique contribution, just as in creation.

We looked at the dynamic of spiritual gifting in the church, what the Bible says about elders and finished with a picture of leadership in the church that brings together all of our understanding of what leadership in the church should look and feel like.
