Luke 23.32-43 As Jesus hangs on a cross, dying and in pain, he talks to a criminal dying alongside him and makes an eternity changing promise. In these moments of suffering, this criminal sees Jesus as he really is and discovers just how far God will go to make a way for him to enter into paradise.

 

Over our summer teaching series Meeting Jesus we've seen Jesus' encounters with all kinds of people - the rich, the poor, men and women, the powerful and the down-trodden. In each meeting, we see how he is able to meet people as they are so they can see him as he is.
